Plain version: this is the website of a small independent game studio. Read it, share it, write about us. Do not scrape it, break it, or pass our work off as yours. Our games have their own terms.

These terms govern your use of irisedgestudios.com (the "Site"), operated by Iris Edge Studios, the trading name of an independent developer based in Portugal. By using the Site you accept these terms. The Pinteza app has its own terms.

1. The Site

The Site is informational. It presents our studio and games, offers ways to contact us, and hosts press materials. Nothing on it is an offer to sell, and no contract for work is formed by sending us a message.

2. Acceptable use

Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorised access to the Site or its underlying services.
Do not use automated scraping that places an unreasonable load on the Site.
Do not submit unlawful, abusive, or deliberately false content through our forms.
Do not use our name, mark, or content in a way that implies endorsement or partnership that does not exist.

3. Intellectual property

The Site and its content, including the Iris Edge Studios name and mark, page copy, design, code, game titles, artwork and screenshots, belong to Iris Edge Studios or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property law.

Press use is welcome. Journalists, reviewers and content creators may reproduce our logos and game screenshots when writing about or covering the studio or its games, unmodified and with attribution. That permission does not extend to merchandise, endorsement, or use as part of another product's branding.

4. Links to other sites

The Site links to third parties, including pinteza.app, itch.io, YouTube and app stores. We are not responsible for their content or practices, and their own terms apply once you leave.

5. Enquiries and confidentiality

If you send a project enquiry, we treat its contents as confidential and use it only to evaluate and respond. Please do not send anything genuinely sensitive through a web form. Sending an enquiry creates no obligation on either side until a separate written agreement is signed.

6. No warranty

The Site is provided "as is". We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that its information is complete or current. Release dates, features and availability may change.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Iris Edge Studios is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from your use of the Site. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including your mandatory rights as a consumer.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected in the date above, and continued use means you accept the revised version.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Portugal, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and subject to any mandatory consumer protections available to you where you live. This English version controls if a translation differs.
